Job summary

Paycom Madison is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to ensure safe, accurate administration of resident medications in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.

This role supports residents with ADLs, meal assistance, documentation, and communication with the healthcare team, while maintaining infection prevention and HIPAA compliance in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current Medication Aide/Medication Technician certification or state-approved training.
• Experience in senior living or memory care is preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate with clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per orders and policies.
• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Document all medications in MAR and other required systems.
• Monitor resident responses and report concerns promptly to nursing staff.
• Maintain medication inventory and ensure secure storage.
• Support care planning discussions with medication-related observations.
