Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Technician to join our team. The CMT will deliver care to residents in a warm, home-like environment, ensuring accurate medication administration and documentation.

Open positions include Part Time evenings and Per Diem all shifts. The role emphasizes collaboration with nursing staff and adherence to state guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold state Medication Technician License.
• Competency review quarterly (supervised by RN/RCD).
• CPR certification required or obtainable within six months of hire.
• Complete state-approved training course in drug administration and obtain certificate.

Responsibilities

• Communicates questions, concerns, and discrepancies related to medication administration to the Resident Care Director (RCD).
• Notifies RCD of any significant change in resident status.
• Documents supervision of self-administration in MAR.

Benchmark Senior Living is looking for a compassionate Certified Medication Technician to join our team! As a CMT, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Open Positions:

• Part Time evenings
• Per Diem all shifts

Responsibilities

• Communicates questions, concerns, and/or discrepancies related to medication administration to the Resident Care Director (RCD).
• Communicates any significant change of mental or physical status of resident to RCD.
• Documents supervision of self-administration in MAR.
• Documents/ notifies RCD of administration of prn meds.
• Responsible for documentation on prn meds and affect.
• Recognizes and can assist in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

Requirements

• Must have state Medication Technician License and demonstrate competency in accordance with the state-approved protocol in drug administration
• Successfully complete medication technician competency review (as supervised by RN / RCD) quarterly
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain within six months of hire
• The Medication Technician must complete a state approved training course in drug administration and receive a certificate of satisfactory successful completion.
• Med-Techs will be evaluated on their competency by the RCD each quarter
• Must have current certification as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide or homemaker/personal care homemaker training program
• High School education preferred
