Job summary

Platinum Communities is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to provide high-quality care to residents in Wisconsin. You will administer medications, supervise ISPs, and collaborate with nurses to ensure safe, compliant care in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, maintaining accurate records, mentoring new staff, and supporting cross-department efforts to promote resident well-being. HIPAA confidentiality and professional conduct are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of CBRF medication administration training and required CBRF core trainings (Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid/Choking, and Resident Rights).
• Previous caregiving experience in a CBRF or RCAC setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications following the Six Rights of Medication Administration and maintain accurate documentation.
• Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report changes.
• Provide ADL assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
• Review ISPs before assuming care responsibilities and follow resident plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and assist across departments (dietary, activities, housekeeping).
• Mentor and train new caregiving staff and support onboarding.
