Job summary

Westmont of Pinole, part of Westmont Living, Inc., is seeking a compassionate MED TECH to assist residents with medications and daily care in a senior living community in Pinole, CA.

The role requires proper medication setup, documentation on MARs, and adherence to healthcare policies under RN/RSD guidance. A criminal background check and health screenings are required, with first aid training delivered within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform medication setup and assist residents on the Medication Program with the self-administration of their medications
• Must be able to set up, record and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of the RN and RSD
• Provide medication assistance documentation per policy and state requirements including: Document medication assistance on MARs immediately after assistance
• Leaves no blanks on MARs
• Document reasons for PRN medication on reverse of MARs and effectiveness of medication
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.

What we need from you:
