Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in San Jose seeks a Medication Technician to assist residents with daily medications and ADL tasks under licensed nurse supervision. Roles include documentation and supporting licensed nurses in a senior living community.

You will monitor resident responses, maintain electronic medical records, and contribute to compassionate hospitality for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. Flexible shifts offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a caregiver in a licensed community.
• C.N.A. license in states where required.
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and assist with ADL care per physician orders.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report reactions to the licensed nurse.
• Take resident vital signs and monitor responses.
• Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on conditions.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high quality care and customer satisfaction.
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
