Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Medication Technician in San Diego, CA to assist residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with daily medications under a licensed nurse, and to maintain accurate electronic medical records.

You will support licensed nurses with administrative tasks, enjoy a growth path toward becoming a licensed nurse, and thrive in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment that values empathy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility.
• C.N.A. License where required.
• Medication Technician or Aide Certification where required.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under physician orders and assist with ADL care as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report reactions or refusals to the licensed nurse.
• Take resident vital signs and observe responses or side effects.
• Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality care and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
