Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to assist residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. You will administer medications under a licensed nurse, monitor responses, and maintain accurate electronic medical records.

This role supports licensed nurses with administrative tasks, fosters a warm, hospitable environment, and offers opportunities to grow toward becoming a licensed nurse. A fast-paced, physically active setting and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility.
• C.N.A. License in states where required.
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide ADL care per physician orders and community guidelines.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report reactions or refusals to the licensed nurse.
• Take resident vital signs and observe responses or side effects.
• Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality care and hospitality for residents.
• Adhere to infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials guidelines.
