Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living seeks a part-time Medication Technician to assist residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities with daily medications, monitor responses, and maintain accurate EMR under supervision of a licensed Nurse.

Eligible candidates are reliable, empathetic, able to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment, and committed to exceptional hospitality so seniors thrive as they age.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility.
• C.N.A. License in states where required and Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide personal care: follow physician’s orders and community guidelines for administering routine medications and assisting with ADL care as needed.
• Documentation and reporting: maintain accurate medical records and report any reactions or refusals to the licensed nurse.
• Vital sign monitoring: take resident vital signs and observe any responses or side effects.
• Shift communication: attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.
• Customer satisfaction: work collaboratively with a team to ensure the highest quality care and services are provided.
