Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living, Calabasas, is seeking a Medication Technician to assist residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will administer medications, monitor responses, and maintain electronic records under licensed nurse supervision.

This role supports licensed nurses with admin tasks and aims to foster growth toward becoming a licensed nurse, emphasizing hospitality, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• C.N.A. License in states where required.
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and assist with ADL care per physician orders.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report reactions or refusals to the nurse.
• Take resident vital signs and monitor responses.
• Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on conditions.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high quality care and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to resident rights, state and federal regulations, infection control, fire safety and hazardous materials guidelines.
