Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician for a full-time 7a-7p shift to assist residents with daily medications in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

You will support licensed nurses with administrative tasks, maintain electronic medical records, and monitor residents' responses, while prioritizing hospitality and compassionate care. This role is ideal for those aiming to become licensed nurses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a caregiver in a licensed community or facility.
• C.N.A. license in states where required.
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide personal care following physician's orders and community guidelines.
• Documentation and reporting: maintain accurate medical records and report reactions or refusals to the licensed nurse.
• Vital sign monitoring: take resident vital signs and observe reactions or side effects.
• Shift communication: attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.
• Customer satisfaction: collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality care and services.
• Safety and compliance: adhere to resident rights, state and federal regulations, infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials guidelines.
