Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Medication Technician at Ivy Park at San Juan Capistrano to supervise and assist in the administration of medications for residents. You will provide direct personal care and encourage participation in activities, working with housekeepers and maintenance staff in line with company values.

The role requires one year of RCFE medication assistance, excellent customer service, and the ability to interact with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year of experience assisting with medication in a RCFE.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel) and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Criminal background check and health screening required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests; follow safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
