Job summary

The Medication Technician at Ivy Park at Mission Viejo, part of Oakmont Management Group, provides supervised administration of medications and direct resident care in a senior living community. You will coordinate with residents, pharmacies, and physicians; maintain accurate medication records; and support a safe, caring environment while promoting independence and meaningful activities for residents.

Applicants should have relevant RCFE experience, be at least 18, and be able to pass

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year of experience assisting with medication in RCFE or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a HS diploma; LVN is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office and able to communicate with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff.
