Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, based in Irvine, California, seeks a part-time Medication Technician for Ivy Park at Seven Oaks. You will supervise and assist in administering medications to residents, support personal care, and promote activities while coordinating with nursing staff and pharmacies.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1 year RCFE experience preferred, ability to pass background checks, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Prefer one year of experience assisting with medication at a RCFE.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and meet their needs.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB.
• Vaccination/testing and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
