Job summary

Bickford of Marion is hiring a Medication Technician to support resident care and ensure daily medication needs are met with compassion and dignity.

Starting wage is $19.25 per hour with day and evening shifts. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, and voluntary coverage; part-time options exist and include voluntary life/STD. Pay is available daily, and 401(k) with employer match is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Active Medication Technician Certification or 1+ year senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Follow MAR and physician orders to dispense medications.
• Adhere to Six Rights of medication administration and policy procedures.
• Utilize eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance on resident care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed staff as needed.
• Demonstrate Bickford’s Mission to the team on shift.
