Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician in Tennessee to assist residents with daily medications in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. Under supervision of a licensed nurse, you will monitor responses and maintain electronic records, supporting licensed nurses with administrative tasks and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility.
• C.N.A. License in states where required.
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide personal care following physician orders and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report reactions to the licensed nurse.
• Take resident vital signs and monitor responses or side effects.
• Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure high-quality care and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to resident rights, state and federal regulations, infection control, and safety guidelines.
