Job summary

The Carriages of Marietta, Georgia is growing our TEAM and we are currently looking for people who have a passion for serving older adults. We are seeking hard-working, dedicated individuals to work alongside a talented and focused nursing TEAM who enjoy working together and love serving our Residents.

You will assist with activities of daily living, medication reminders, meals, hygiene, and mobility while following Resident service plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• CNA certification with a Certified Medication Aide Certificate is required.
• A full background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia training is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, medication reminders, treatments and other care.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up afterwards.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans.
• Assists Residents moving in and out, as assigned.
• Assists with laundry service.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, comfortable safe environment for Residents, staff and visitors, including housekeeping services for Residents.
