Job summary

The Carriages of Marietta, located in Marietta, GA, is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to join our compassionate nursing team serving older adults. You will assist with medications, daily living activities, meals, and resident care plans in a person-centered environment.

We value a high school diploma, 1 year of experience, and CMA/CNA certification. A full background check, TB test, and drug screening are required; Alzheimer’s training is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and at least 1 year of experience.
  • CNA certification with Certified Medication Aide Certificate required.
  • Background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing mandatory.
  • Alzheimer’s and Dementia training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, medication reminders, treatments and other care while encouraging selfcare and independence.
  • Assists with setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up afterwards.
  • Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans.
  • Assists Residents moving in and out, as assigned.
  • Assists with laundry service.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
  • Maintains clean, neat, comfortable safe environment for Residents, staff and visitors, including housekeeping services for Residents.

  • This job requires a high school diploma, and at least 1 year of experience
  • CNA certification with a Certified Medication Aide Certificate is required.
  • A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
  • Alzheimer’s and Dementia training is preferred but not required.
