The Carriages in Marietta, GA is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to help create and direct engaging activities for our senior residents. You will support social, educational, and recreational programs that enhance well-being and participation in the community.

We value compassionate, reliable team members who can work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends, and pursue certifications such as CPR/First Aid to ensure safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of experience working with seniors.
• Willingness to obtain certifications such as SFA, ACE, AFAA and CPR/First Aid.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Strong compassion and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading daily life enrichment activities and events.
• Encourage resident participation in social, recreational, and educational programs.
• Support group and one-on-one activities that promote engagement and well-being.
• Help prepare materials, set up activity spaces, and clean up after programs.
• Observe residents during activities and report any concerns or changes to appropriate staff.
• Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for all residents.
• Assist with special events, holiday celebrations, and community outings as needed.
• Maintain activity supplies and assist with organizing program areas.

We are seeking a fun, creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated Life Enrichment Assistant to help create and direct activities for our Senior’s. • Be reliable in attendance and work schedules.
• Organize and utilize time appropriately toward accomplishing assigned tasks.
• Require minimal supervision.
• Willingness and ability to study; obtain and maintain required professional fitness certification such as SFA, ACE, AFAA and CPR/First Aid certifications and training through home study and/or workshop attendance.
• Enjoy working with seniors, have sensitivity to their needs and be able to teach and encourage them to learn and engage in the programs.
• Have ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and/or overtime.
• A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must.
• This job requires a high school diploma
• At least 1 year of experience
• A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
