Job summary

The Carriages of Marietta in Georgia is seeking dedicated CNA/RCA staff to join a compassionate care team for our residents. You will assist with daily living activities, medication reminders, and routine care within resident service plans.

We value compassionate individuals who strive for high-quality care and teamwork. A high school diploma is required; CNA certification is preferred, with background checks and TB testing mandatory.

Qualifications

• A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must.
• This job requires a high school diploma.
• At least 1 year of experience
• aCNA certification is preferred.
• A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
• A Alzheimer's and Dementia training is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication reminders, treatments and other care while encouraging selfcare and independence.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up afterwards.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans.
• Assists Residents moving in and out, as assigned.
• Assists with laundry service.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, comfortable safe environment for Residents, staff and visitors, including housekeeping services for Residents.
