Job summary

Avamere at Mountain Ridge in South Ogden, UT is seeking a Medication Tech to administer medications and provide direct care to residents in memory care and assisted living settings.

This role offers day and evening shifts with weekend nights available, $17-$18 per hour DOE, and benefits including health coverage, 401(k), PTO, and EAP. A Utah Medication Tech certificate and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Active Utah Medication Tech certificate or equivalent
• Experience in memory care or assisted living environments
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification during employment
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and timely
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and room
• Record medications administered in resident records
• Notify pharmacy for refills and communicate with families as needed
• Observe residents for changes and report to health services
• Complete incident reports and follow facility policies
• Assist with medical appointments and coordinate care with providers
• Follow care plans and document changes in EMR
