Job summary

Harmony Senior Services seeks a dedicated Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities for residents at our Simpsonville community. The role includes supporting prescribed medications within scope, documenting in EMAR/MAR, and staying current with training.

You will collaborate with RNs/LPNs and the nursing team to ensure safety, dignity, and comfort, while maintaining confidentiality and participating in ongoing medication education and audits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Medication Aide Course is required.
• Current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing are required.
• Must pass medication observations annually and complete cart audits.
• Must communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope.
• Maintain medication cart and perform audits as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Document resident status and communication in daily logs.
• Support activity planning and resident emotional well-being.
