Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Simpsonville, SC, is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities while administering prescribed medications under supervision.

You will maintain medication records, complete cart audits, and communicate resident status to the care team. This role requires proper licensure, strong communication, and flexibility for weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED.
• Must have completed Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must pass all medication cart audits.
• Must attend 4 hours of medication education annually.
• Must communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Must be organized and able to work with all staff.
• Must work weekends/holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope.
• Provide quality care and help with activities of daily living.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Report resident status and concerns to appropriate staff.
• Complete medication cart audits and document in EMAR/MAR.
• Re-order meds and communicate changes to residents/families.
• Support residents with move-ins and daily activities.
• Participate in training and in-services as scheduled.
• Follow confidentiality policies and safety guidelines.
