Kennybrook Village in Grimes, IA is seeking a Life Services Coordinator - Caregiver to join Maggie's Place Memory Care. You will support residents with personal care, meals, and activities, promoting independence and wellbeing under supervision.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years dementia care experience, is at least 18, and holds a high school diploma or GED. This part-time role offers benefits including health plans, 401(k), PTO, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1-2 years’ previous experience working with individuals with dementia, preferably in a memory care setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent GED.

Responsibilities

• Provides services to tenants as assigned and per Resident Service Plans, including grooming guidance, and assistance with bathing.
• Reports significant tenant changes to the nurse and monitors health status changes.
• Reviews daily logs for changes in service needs or health conditions.
• Prepares and serves meals and snacks, then cleans up and maintains kitchen areas.
• Maintains activity calendar and engages residents in social, spiritual, educational, games, music, and physical activities.
• Provides companionship and works effectively with minimal supervision in a team setting.
• Follows safety policies, infection control guidelines, and facility procedures.
