Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Lexington, KY is seeking a Caregiver/CNA to provide medication assistance, daily living support, and compassionate care to residents in a residential or long-term setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of caregiving experience, English proficiency, and completion of state-mandated Medication Aide training where applicable. A team-oriented environment and strong commitment to residents' rights are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Caregiver or CNA in a residential or long-term care setting.
• Must complete Medication Aide training (where required by state).

Responsibilities

• Provides medication assistance for residents in accordance with state regulations and company policy.
• Assists in maintaining the medication cart and storage room in a neat and orderly manner.
• Maintains accurate medication counts and secures the medication cart and storage area.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility).
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care and medication assistance.
• Responds promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Upholds Residents’ Rights and supports all company policies and care philosophy.
• Observes changes in residents’ condition and reports to a licensed nurse.
• Completes documentation such as medication administration records and incident reports.
• Assists in dining room during meal times and supports resident activities.
