Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living is seeking a Kentucky Medication Aide to provide medication assistance to residents in accordance with state regulations. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and English proficiency, with prior CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities include maintaining medication carts, accurate medication documentation, and assisting with daily living activities. You will work in a team-oriented environment with opportunities for career development and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides medication assistance for residents in accordance with state regulations and policy, including pouring, preparing, administering, and documenting.
• Maintains medication cart and storage room in a neat and orderly manner.
• Ensures accurate medication counts and security of medication cart/storage room for assigned shifts.
• May assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility).
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation and activities while providing personal care and medication assistance.
• Responds promptly to resident needs and coordinates care with licensed nurse as needed.
• Upholds Residents’ Rights at all times and follows company policies.
• Completes documentation such as MARs, incident reports, change of condition reports, and behavior tracking.
• Assists in dining room during meal times and supports residents’ participation in activities.
• Promotes self-expression and social engagement through individual or small group interactions.
