Job summary

Infinity Healthcare Consulting is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role requires following safety techniques and state regulations, documenting treatments, and maintaining resident privacy.

The position involves lifting and transferring residents, attending mandatory trainings, and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, unencumbered state license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under nurse supervision and per physician orders.
• Observe residents for drug reactions and report concerns to the nurse.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and document findings.
• Calculate medication dosages and stock the medication cart.
• Document medications administered on the MAR chart.
• Provide safe lifts, moves, and transfers of residents as required.
• Attend mandatory meetings and in-services.
