Job summary

Waterford Communities Assisted Living and Memory Care seeks a Medication Aide to ensure medications are administered correctly and per physician orders, in a respectful elder care setting.

The role requires an active Nebraska Medication Aide license and a compassionate, detail‑oriented approach. You will work under supervision with leadership from the Director of Healthcare and Waterford RN, while supporting daily resident needs and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current Nebraska licensure as a Medication aide.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate medication check-in with all new pharmacy orders and deliveries.
• Verify MAR aligns with current orders and complete medication orders with precision.
• Communicate with pharmacy, physicians, or other healthcare providers as needed.
• Maintain an active Nebraska Medication Aide license.
• Observe residents and report adverse responses to medications and treatments.
• Attend meetings as requested by Administrator and Waterford RN.
• Assist dietary with beverages and meal distribution when able.
