Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough and correct medication check-in with all new pharmacy orders and deliveries.
• Follow all medication orders completely and ensure MAR matches current orders.
• Communicate with Pharmacy, Physicians, or other healthcare providers as needed.
• Maintain a current Medication Aide license in the State of Nebraska.
• Observe resident responses to medications and report as required by policy.
• Attend meetings as assigned/requested by Administrator, Director of Health Care, or Waterford RN.
• Assist the dietary department with beverages and meal distribution when able.
• Report and document incidents and falls as required by policy.
• Complete all in-service hours as required by State regulation.
