Reporting to the Director of Healthcare, Administrator, and RN, you will maintain Nebraska licensure, complete required in-service hours, and support staff and residents with care and medication administration while upholding Waterford

Qualifications

• Must be a Medication Aide licensed in Nebraska and active on the DHHS registry.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough and correct medication check-in with all new orders and deliveries.
• Verify MAR matches current orders.
• Communicate with Pharmacy, Physicians, or other healthcare providers as needed.
• Maintain a current Nebraska Medication Aide license.
• Familiarize with residents, medication administration, and staffing needs; follow policies and procedures.
• Report and document incidents and falls as required by policy.
• Complete all in-service hours as required by state regulations.
• Monitor resident care plans and suggest revisions to the DOH, Administrator, or RN as needed.
• Provide resident care including toileting, mobility assistance, dressing, and bathing.
• Observe and report resident responses to medications and treatments to staff.
• Attend meetings as assigned by Administrator or RN.
• Assist dietary with beverages and meal distribution when able.
