Sunrise Senior Living in New Jersey is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to deliver safe, accurate medication care to residents. You will administer medications per physician orders, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents during passes with a focus on dignity and safety.

Ideal candidates hold a Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid certifications, and a high school diploma.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medication Administration certification is required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are required.
• Senior care experience is preferred.

Mansioni

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
