Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech in Novato, CA. You will administer medications and treatments per physician orders, follow the Six Rights, and document in MAR/TAR in real time to ensure resident safety.

You will observe residents during and after passes, monitor symptoms, and report concerns promptly. Maintain organized medication areas and comply with infection control and safety standards to prevent errors.

Qualifications

• Must have medication administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred
• Strong documentation and communication skills required
• Senior care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
