Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in California is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments per physician orders, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents for safety and comfort.

You will uphold the Six Rights, maintain clean carts, follow infection control and safety standards, and collaborate with care teams to support residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Administration certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
