Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications safely and with dignity. You will administer meds per orders, observe residents, document in MAR/TAR, and maintain clean carts and rooms.

Qualifications include a HS diploma, Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong documentation. Senior care experience is preferred; compensation reflects a competitive pay range and benefits.

• Strong documentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
