Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments safely and with dignity. You will follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and observe residents during and after passes to ensure comfort and safety.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
