Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities for residents, including medication administration within the scope of practice.

The role requires completion of the Medication Aide Course, current CNA and Med Tech licenses, and ability to pass medication observations and audits. Flexibility for weekends/holidays and strong communication are essential to support resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech license in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass medication observations annually.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within the established scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Document all medication administration on EMAR/MAR and report to HCD.
• Complete medication cart audits and maintain cart as directed.
• Report incidents involving residents to appropriate personnel (HCD, RN/LPN, ED).
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Attend medication trainings scheduled and adhere to policies.
