Job summary

Mission Health is seeking a Medication Aide at Eckerd Living Center to support nursing care and patient hygiene under direction of a licensed nurse. The role requires NC NAI/II registration and current BLS/CPR certification, with at least one year of adult care experience (PCT/CNA).

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. Neonursing Home experience is preferred and the hospital network offers a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Must be listed on NC Medication Aide Registry and have NC NAI or II.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• One year of experience as PCT/Medication Aide or CNA in an adult care setting is required.
• Nursing Home experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic medication administration under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Provide nursing and personal care to patients according to scope of practice.
• Adhere to NC Nurse Aide I/II and Medication Aide registries and facility policies.
