Job summary

Greenbrier of Fairmont in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to support residents through safe medication administration and daily health monitoring. This role collaborates with the nursing team to maintain well-being and dignity for each resident.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare or senior living experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications per physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to the nursing team promptly.
• Maintain medication carts and records and ensure proper storage and disposal.
• Assist with safety, infection control, and basic healthcare tasks as needed.
