Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living, including administering prescribed medications within the defined scope.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of the Medication Aide Course, and current CNA and Med Tech licenses. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days is required, with weekend and holiday availability a must.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must satisfactorily pass all medication cart audits assigned.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to the position.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies and document appropriately.
• Complete medication cart audits and maintain the medication cart as directed.
• Document all medication administration in EMAR/MAR.
