Job summary

Encanto Palms Healthcare, LLC is seeking a caregiver to assist in administering medications to residents under supervision in our Arizona facility. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with five 8-hour shifts per week and every other weekend. A valid Arizona Caregiver certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Follow the policies and procedures of the facility governing the administering of medications to residents.
• Note and report errors in the administration of medications.
• Assist in developing and implementing procedures or programs to prevent medication errors.
• Accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document medications as ordered.
• Verify resident identity before administering medication and document vitals as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and report any concerns to Nursing Services.
