• Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information to managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies and procedures governing the administration of medications.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Assist in developing programs to identify medication errors and prevent them.
• Prepare, administer, and document oral and topical medications per orders.
• Verify resident identity before administering medications; document refusals.
• Maintain accurate medication documentation and charting as required.
