Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Patient Relations Analyst to educate patients on Medicare programs, resources, and affordable insurance options, improving access and retention. You will advocate for patients by guiding them through insurance choices and bills, acting as the insurance expert at the clinic and supporting the care and outreach teams.

The PRA will assist during Open Enrollment, report to leadership, and contribute to a welcoming, patient-centered environment while handling

Qualifications

• Proficient in common software tools (Gmail, MS Word/Google Docs, Excel, etc.).
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with navigating Medicare and insurance issues and maximize benefits.
• Serve as a clinic resource on insurance questions for providers and staff.
• Help patients navigate the healthcare system and resolve medical bills.
• Educate patients on applying for public benefits and extra help for prescription drugs.
• Support clinic management with scheduling and billing tasks.
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster patient engagement.
