Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Patient Relations Analyst in Columbus to educate patients about Medicare programs, insurance options, and affordability. You will advocate for patients, helping them navigate coverage and bills while supporting care teams with insurance questions and enrollment.

You’ll play a key role during Open Enrollment, ensuring patients understand all available options and benefits, and report to the Associate Patient Relations Manager or Practice Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to navigate multiple computer programs (Gmail, MS Word/Google Docs, Excel)
• US work authorization is required
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with navigating Medicare and insurance issues including coverage, benefits, summaries, eligibility and maximizing plan value
• Serve as clinic resource on insurance questions for providers and staff
• Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system and resolving medical bills
• Educate patients on public benefits and prescription drug assistance
• Support clinic management with scheduling and billing and provide exceptional customer service
• Foster patient engagement through events and center tours
