Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for the Lexington Medical Center Laboratory in Lexington, NC. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with a pay range of $25.30–$37.95 per hour.

Minimum qualifications include an MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification and an Associate degree (preferred). NAACLS program completion is a plus. The position emphasizes accuracy, QC/QA, and timely reporting of results while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of patient lab test results.
• Follow QC/QA procedures and document results.
• Respond to STATs immediately and escalate as needed.
• Maintain safety and proper patient identification throughout testing.
