Aultman Health Foundation in Orrville, OH is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform routine and complex laboratory testing across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis and blood bank areas. You will operate automated instruments, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, and support patient care.

Responsibilities include accessioning, mentoring, cross-training, and effective communication with clinicians. AHA BLS training is required; sign-on bonus up to $15,000 may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree with 12-month MLS training
• MLS certification or MLT certification/registry eligibility
• Willingness to assume CLIA roles per CAP definitions
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) training required

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and complex lab procedures across hematology, coagulation, immunohematology, chemistry, urinalysis and toxicology.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Ensure accuracy, quality control and regulatory compliance for testing.
• Assist accessioning and specimen processing as needed; cross-train across department.
• Mentor students and new employees; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate test results effectively to physicians, nursing units and other staff.
