Medical West Hospital Authority in Hoover, AL seeks a Medical Technologist to perform complex laboratory tests on patient samples, operate analyzers, and interpret results to support diagnosis and patient care. You will maintain and calibrate equipment and ensure quality control in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, at least one year as a registered MT, and ASCP or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or related field.
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Medical Technologist.
• Registered MT/MLS with ASCP or equivalent.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of lab procedures, techniques and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests on patient samples (blood, urine, etc).
• Operate, maintain and calibrate analyzers, microscopes and centrifuges.
• Analyze test results and provide accurate interpretations to support patient care.
• Follow quality control procedures to ensure accurate test results.
