Openwork Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical care. In this role you will deliver direct patient care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and uphold high standards of patient safety and outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of Med/Surg experience; ACLS is a plus. You will participate in education, quality improvement, and patient family education in a supportive, team-focused

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in good standing.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, document findings, and update medical records accurately.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by attending physicians.
• Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes, ensuring smooth transitions for patients.
• Perform routine and specialized nursing procedures with attention to safety and best practice.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain cleanliness in patient care areas.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing professional development.
