Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Relevant clinical experience in a medical-surgical setting strongly preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Additional certifications (such as ACLS) may be required based on facility needs
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established standards and best practices
• Monitor and record patient progress, noting changes in condition or response to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Provide patient and family education on procedures, medications, and post-discharge care
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to review and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings
• Comply with all facility safety and infection control policies
