Openwork Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Surgical to join our healthcare team. You will deliver high-quality patient care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians and allied staff in a fast-paced MedSurg unit.

This role offers a supportive work environment, onboarding help, and comprehensive insurance options. A strong candidate has an active RN license, MedSurg experience, and BLS; ACLS preferred. Weekly direct deposit is provided.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in a Medical Surgical (MedSurg) unit or similar acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct patient care to adult and elderly patients in MedSurg.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education regarding follow-up care and medication management.
