UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical units on days, full-time. You will provide nursing care under supervision, perform assessments, and coordinate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program; able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• 1 year of RN experience; specialty areas may have increased experience requirements.
• Licenses and Certifications: current Texas RN license (NLC) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Performs and accurately documents physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments across age groups.
• Develops and implements an appropriate plan of care in collaboration with the care team.
• Prioritizes nursing interventions based on assessment and maintains timely documentation.
