Job summary

Qualifications

• Education Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program; read, write, and communicate in English.
• 1 year RN experience; specialty areas may require more experience.
• Current Texas nursing license (NLC) and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments.
• Develop and implement plan of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Prioritize nursing interventions based on assessment and changes in condition.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Adhere to hospital policies and standards of nursing practice.
